# Mobile App

KeepKey Mobile is a companion for viewing and interacting with your KeepKey accounts from a phone. Start at the [official mobile page](https://keepkey.com/mobile) for current downloads and supported flows.

## Install

Use the download linked from [KeepKey's mobile page](https://keepkey.com/mobile). As reviewed September 24, 2026, that page links iOS and labels Google Play as coming soon. Do not assume an app with a similar name is the official release.

## Viewing accounts and approving requests

Viewing balances, preparing a request and authorizing a signature are different operations. The current product page describes portfolio viewing and requests that are confirmed on the hardware device. A phone display is not a replacement for [reviewing the request on KeepKey](/docs/desktop/verify-on-device).

Follow the pairing instructions supplied with your installed mobile and desktop versions. Earlier QR-pairing instructions documented a read-only desktop companion; they should not be used as a universal guide to newer flows. Version-matched pairing steps are being reconciled here.

You do not need to enter recovery words into a phone to view or pair a KeepKey account. Never provide recovery words, a passphrase or a PIN to support.

## Protect account access

Use the phone's screen lock. Pair only with a session you initiated, and keep pairing credentials private. A lost phone may expose balances, addresses or connection information even when it does not hold signing keys.

If a phone is lost, revoke its connection in the application that authorized it and secure the phone through your operating system's account controls. Revocation prevents future authorized access; it cannot erase information already viewed or copied. Use [Troubleshooting](/docs/desktop/troubleshooting) if you cannot identify the connection.
