# Dropship deposit, review and credentials

<StepVideo id="aff-10-dropship-account" />

After [applying](/docs/dropshipping#apply), return to **Dropship** in the affiliate portal. The account can show an unpaid deposit, deposit received with review pending, an approved account, or a suspended account. Each state has a different next step.

## Read your deposit request

The current opening requirement is a **\$200 deposit paid in Bitcoin**. Your account shows the quoted BTC amount and receiving address. Use that current invoice, not an exchange-rate estimate or a value copied from a tutorial.

Before paying, check the asset, network, complete receiving address and exact amount. Allow for your wallet's transaction fee separately. A transaction sent from your wallet is not the same as the portal recognizing receipt.

The page updates as the payment is recognized. Once the deposit is marked received, the application can still be waiting for admin review. Do not assume payment grants live API access immediately or within a fixed time.

If a sent payment is not recognized, retain the transaction reference and compare its destination and amount with the account's invoice. Contact [support](/docs/support) privately before sending another payment.

## Collect the correct credentials

After approval, the portal can show a **live token** and a **test token** for one-time pickup. Store them privately on your backend before leaving the page.

| Credential | Use |
| --- | --- |
| Dropship test token | Rehearse orders without fulfillment, credit draw or settlement allocation |
| Dropship live token | Submit real fulfillment orders against available credit |
| Webhook signing secret | Verify incoming signed updates; created separately when registering a webhook |
| Affiliate MCP key | Affiliate-account tools; not a dropship order token |

Keep test and production settings separate and clearly named. If tokens need replacing, coordinate the change with your backend: rotation issues new live and test tokens together and the old ones stop working.

## Understand credit and suspension

The \$500 starting credit line is fulfillment capacity, not a cash payout or affiliate earnings. Accepted live orders use capacity until settlements are recognized. Read [Settlements and credit](/docs/dropshipping/settlements) before accepting more orders than the account can fulfill.

A suspended account cannot place new live orders. Inspect overdue settlements and the returned error before retrying. Support can help reconcile a state that differs from your records; changing tokens does not resolve an unpaid obligation.
